That’s because she is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent, who is the Queen’s cousin. She is currently 51st in line to the throne, which means we probably won’t see her as Queen herself over the course of her life, but we will see her walk down the aisle. In the Spring of 2019, she will marry financier Thomas Kingston.

Because she is part of the Royal Family, Lady Gabriella will have to follow a few rules when it comes to her wedding. Most notably, she will have to make sure that her bridal bouquet contains a sprig of myrtle.

This plant has been used within Royal bouquets since the 1800s and has since become a staple in every wedding related to the prestigious family. Over the years, the Queen, Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, Princess Diana, and Princess Eugenie have all done this, and it’s been noted that Lady Gabriella will do the same.

Since the early 1900s, members of the Royal Family have also followed another tradition. They have had their wedding bands made with Welsh gold, which is incredibly rare.

In fact, the Royal supply ran out after the likes of the Queen and Princess Diana used up the gold, but it’s believed that the family has another chunk of the gold at their disposal. While it’s not known for certain whether Lady Gabriella will follow this tradition, there’s a very high chance that it will happen.
