The couple had been engaged for over a year and invited some of the biggest names in Hollywood to celebrate their day, including Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, and Sienna Miller. Everyone traveled to York, UK, where they got to see Ellie arrive in a vintage VW camper before the couple said their vows.

While the rest of the day had all been planned to perfection, there was one aspect that stood above all the rest: Ellie Goulding’s Victorian-style wedding dress. The singer arrived in a high-neck gown that had been handcrafted with glass beads and embroidered with White Roses of York. Ellie specially ordered her gown from Paris, where designers spent 640 hours stitching the one-of-a-kind dress.
Overseeing The Work
Ellie admits that she was overwhelmed with emotions as soon as she tried on the gown thanks to the incredible details that went into it all. The musician continued to arrive at the studio to overwatch the dress as it came together. As if that wasn’t enough, Ellie’s look was completed with a silk tulle veil. The veil took a whopping 591 hours to make and was even finished with the embroidered initials ‘C’ and ‘E’ to celebrate the newlyweds.
