If diamonds aren’t your thing, or you don’t like the ambiguity of how the diamond was obtained, opt for a different stone instead. Jewelry designer Ashley Zhang says, “Colored gemstones with diamond accents were very popular in 2023 and will continue in 2024. These gemstones can be just as high in value as diamonds depending on the quality, and can be a unique way to showcase your own personal style while still being set in a simple and clean design.”

Ring stacks are the gift that just keeps on giving! This style provides you with the option to continuously add to the look, and keep it updated with your partner’s evolving style.
Kim explains, “Brides can curate their collection over time, allowing for flexibility in creating different combinations or looks, and each additional ring in a stack can symbolize significant milestones or memorable events.”
Unique Designs
A lot of engagement rings kind of look the same, so if your partner likes to stand out, you may want to get them a ring with a unique design. According to Kim, “A majority of our clients are seeking personalization in their forever pieces and a unique design makes it truly theirs.” Just keep in mind that it may not be obvious to everyone the ring is an engagement ring, and make sure you and your partner are okay with that.
