A wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of someone’s life. So it makes sense that the people getting married would never want their special day to end. Most people find a way to come to terms with the inevitable closing of the day. But every now and then, one young lovestruck bride or groom just can’t accept it. And that was especially true for one woman named Hannah.
22-year-old Hannah headed to Cyprus not too long ago to marry the love of her life, Joe. And after a long and grueling process, she found a dress that filled her with joy. So much joy, in fact, that she never wanted to take it off.

“It felt lush walking down the aisle. I felt amazing. I loved it…I wanted to wear it again,” she said of her perfect dress.
Finding the dress was no walk in the park. “There’s a lot of pressure with a wedding dress in how it needs to be perfect, and kept neat,” she explained afterwards, “And [then] you need to store it in a box in your loft for 25 years afterwards.” Well, she does make a point. And this reasoning led her to resolve to getting the most out of her dress as she could before the wedding adventures were over.
So when the newlyweds decided to go parasailing the next day, she said ‘yes’ again…and showed up in her wedding dress.
“It was a spur of the moment decision,” she reflected. “[We] saw some people parasailing and thought ‘I’m going to do that.’ It would be some pictures for us to cherish and you don’t really see people do it, do you, parasailing in their wedding dress?”

After the seaside adventure, she decided to keep making the most of the dress – and jumped fully gowned into the swimming pool.
Hannah certainly fulfilled her higher expectations for the dress, and she has big plans for it post-wedding, too: she’s sending it to the dry-cleaners and having it refurbished into new clothes for charity. It’s safe to say this dress’s story is as beautiful as the dress itself.
